ResOrtho created the Meyer Award
The Resortho Foundation was created in 2000 by Prof. Christian Gerber to advance orthopaedics through support of research, development, innovation and highly specialized education. Aid is provided by supporting research, education, training and other activities that can contribute to the fulfillment of the Foundation's purpose.
New research results are necessary to increase reliability in preventing illness and/or finding methods to cure them. In order to implement these research results as quickly and efficiently as possible, we need medical instructors and opinion leaders who are open-minded and have received first-class training and education.
The Foundation is recognized as a non-for-profit organization, tax-exempt and under the control of the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations. Its assets are accumulated by donations from the founder and from third parties. It is managed by a foundation board currently consisting of 3 members.
